Since 1966, BMC has been producing trucks, light trucks, engines, and tractors. Between 1964-1966, its early years, it produced commercial brand vehicles. BMC was the first in Turkey to produce diesel engine vehicles. This production dates back to 1976. The conversion of gasoline engines to diesel was also an idea developed by BMC. BMC initially produced with 74% domestic capital. Later, in 1989, it had the pride of being the first and only commercial vehicle manufacturer with 100% domestic capital. BMC is currently one of the 4 manufacturers in the world that produces vehicles for freight and passenger transport in all classes between 2.8-40 tons. It is the only manufacturer in Turkey.
